Trey Ramsey

Trey Ramsey is co-founder and managing partner of Evolve Coaching Group, where he helps leaders strengthen their teams, develop their people, and build healthy organizational cultures. His approach draws on more than three decades of professional experience across law enforcement, telecommunications, finance, energy services, and organizational learning.

Through Evolve, Trey provides leadership coaching, facilitates workshops, and develops programs shaped around an organization’s people and business priorities. His work has included leadership development for manufacturing teams, a three-phase program serving more than 50 leaders in banking, and coaching programs for leaders across multiple states in logistics. Across these engagements, he emphasizes communication, accountability, trust, and the ability to develop others through a coaching approach to leadership.

As Senior Director of Training and Development at Superior Energy Services, Trey built a training department from the ground up, growing it to a team of 15+ trainers and managers with a $1.5 million budget. He led leadership development and safety programs across eight states, including a program that prepared high-potential managers for greater leadership responsibilities.

Earlier in his career, Trey held finance leadership positions with AT&T and Sprint PCS. He also served as the head of higher education marketing for Sprint Communications. His law enforcement experience includes service as a criminal investigator and field training officer, combining investigative responsibilities with developing training materials and mentoring new officers. These roles inform his understanding of decision-making, responsibility, and helping people perform under pressure.

Trey holds a Master of Business Administration from Baker University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Stephen F. Austin State University. He also pursued graduate studies in International Affairs at Texas A&M University and completed professional coach training through an ICF-accredited program.

His work centers on a practical belief: leaders shape culture through their everyday decisions, conversations, and actions. Trey helps them examine those habits, recognize opportunities for growth, and take intentional steps toward stronger individual and team performance.
