Before you begin

A little more
clarity.

A few questions you may be considering. We can talk through the rest together.

Is relationship coaching for couples or individuals?

Amy works with both individuals and couples. You can discuss who would participate and what you hope to explore during the initial consultation.

Do we need to know exactly what we want to work on?

No. You can start with what feels difficult, what has changed, or what you would like to understand better. The first conversation helps clarify whether the approach fits your needs.

Is relationship coaching the same as therapy?

No. This coaching focuses on awareness, communication, goals, and practical next steps. It is not a substitute for licensed mental-health treatment. The initial consultation is a chance to discuss scope and whether coaching is appropriate for your situation.

What are the session arrangements and fees?

Ask about format, availability, session length, fees, and any recommended commitment during your initial consultation. You should have those details before choosing whether to continue.

How do we discuss privacy and expectations?

Bring any questions about confidentiality, participation, and how conversations will be handled to the initial consultation. Clarifying expectations is part of deciding whether the working relationship is right for you.
